Always so comfortable and so clean, close to everything, feels like coming home every time we stay.

Even though the management/housekeeping/front desk/maintenance teams did eventually resolve all the various issues we encountered during our recent stay, it just seemed like so much work, and cut into both our time and drained our mental and physical energy. We really wanted our visit to be smooth and easy, but it was not.
Figure out your communication systems and how to streamline the connectivity between shifts of management/front desk and maintenance and housekeeping. We connected with staff multiple times ahead of our visit and during our visit to make SURE that the housekeeping team would clean Thursday morning, as we were swapping out family members in our room. Despite continued assurances that it would be done and the fact that the room had been vacant for 24 hours waiting to be cleaned, when we (the owners) arrived late on Thursday, the room was a disaster—dirty, the way our family members left it since they had been repeatedly assured it would be cleaned for us. We had to stay the night elsewhere, missing out on 1/3 of our stay. And the mattress was unacceptable and it took several interactions on the NEXT day to finally get a new mattress in the room. And in that process I was told that it was replaced, but it wasn’t. I don’t think that anyone meant to lie or mislead us. I truly think everything somehow gets lost in the shuffle at CBR. The systems somehow do not connect. Not sure who the buck stops with. Anyway, we never truly relaxed in our shortened stay. My parents, who stayed Mon-Wed, left a day early because the room triggered my mom’s allergies so badly (it was extremely dusty).
The proximity to the beach! It was so fun to wake up and hear the waves, seagulls and smell the ocean.

Excellent place! Perfect location and stay!

While the overall unit seemed clean, the hard surface floors were sticky and our light-colored socks became dirty while walking around. One other point: the bathtub drain was slow, and likely needed a good cleaning.
Great property location. And the facility itself and the staff are user-friendly.

Our stay at Coronado Beach Resort was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The location couldn’t be better. It is just steps from the beach with breathtaking sunset views over the ocean that made every evening unforgettable. It’s also perfectly situated within walking distance to the beach, great shopping, and incredible restaurants, making it easy to enjoy everything the area has to offer. A huge shoutout to Erick and Michael at the front desk, who truly made our experience exceptional. They were welcoming, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect throughout our stay. One of our favorite perks was the complimentary bike rentals—it was such a fun and convenient way to explore the area and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. And we can’t forget Miss Cody in the lobby! She added such a warm and charming touch to the atmosphere and made us smile every time we passed through. If you’re looking for a relaxing, well-located getaway with outstanding service and thoughtful extras, Coronado Beach Resort is the place to stay. We can’t wait to come back!

We had originally supposed to be in a 2 bedroom room. Unfortunately that was lost in translation due to us booking through a 3rd party (Expedia). If we stay again, we will book through the property.
Erick and Michael at the front desk were awesome! Miss. Cody was a cute addition to the property, we enjoyed telling her good morning and good night. We also LOVED the complimentary bike rentals. That was a huge plus!
