We are enjoying our holiday, but wished our unit had a stove and oven. It only has a microwave, but a full refrigerator. The location of the hotel is perfect!

We just recently discovered this gem. Everyone we encountered here from the front desk to maintenance staff were simply wonderful people. The manager Marc was wonderful with customer service issues. We just thoroughly enjoyed the location as well as the amenities here and its sister location along with the shuttle service between the two. We even had great conversations with both drivers who offered perfect advice four our stay on the island. The location is perfect, as it’s right in the heart of the Coronado ambience. We come to Coronado quite often yet this was our first stay at CBR. We will definitely be back with priority to stay here from now on. Thank you CBR for the great time.

We were just walking through the hotel lobby, when a very kind employee volunteered to spend a few minutes with us; he gave a very interesting history of the hotel & showed us one of the banquet rooms... the one in which President Nixon met with the President of Mexico accompanied by Governor Ronald Reagan. I shall return for a proper stay.

Overall hotel was not bad, but there were ants in the bathroom and in the bed, also it was too cold in the rooms.

First the good: The hotel is in an excellent location in Coronado, perfect for everything local. The staff was all friendly and strived to provide a good experience. There aren’t really any amenities at the hotel so it’s really just front desk and cleaning staff (I chose not to have my room cleaned during my stay). The bad: The hotel is tired. All of the furniture needed to be replaced a decade ago. The room was as clean as it could be, but everything is worn and stained. The rooms themselves are dark with very low ceilings and just generally unpleasant to be in. The bathrooms were no different, everything was old and had grime and dirt buildup. Water pressure was terrible. Overall, I wouldn’t stay here again unless the hotel was completely renovated.

I love the Coronado Beach Resort! The location to the beach is amazing! It is walking distance to all the restaurants and shops! I wish I was there more than just once a year!!!!

Great for what you paid. Excellent location, great amenities to use at the resort, using their shuttle (always on time). I will stay here next time.
