REALLY ENJOYING OUR UNIT…beautifully maintained, nicely furnished and good view! We are very happy to be here! Staff went out of their way to provide many services and opportunities to explore the unique island. Delightful times to meet and enjoy the hospitality with fellow guests. There were many good points about our stay but sadly a few not so good. Cannot fault the staff - they are incredibly friendly and helpful. A big shout out to Ms Coco and her squawks which never ceased to delight! We were given a room overlooking the Del, but honestly, we would have preferred the other side as the traffic noise was constant and sadly, very loud. Our mattress had a large bow in it, making it too uncomfortable for me and my dodgy back so we tried the sofabed. It was old, the mattress was thin. I ended up with the mattress on the floor and reception sent up a mattress topper at my request. Not great for what we spent per night, but I was eventually comfortable. We didn't want to make a fuss - we did ask to change rooms but were told the resort was full. Just a bit of a disappointing experience when visiting from overseas. Our toilet blocked up - maintenance were sent and the matter dealt with quickly. Position is good and the hotel is spotless. Kitchenettes in rooms are excellent. But we would not choose to stay here again.
