First, I would like to thank the staff for the prompt response (front desk and manager). We had a situation in our room which called for reinforcements to clean up an issue that we walked into from the prior guest. It was handled quickly and staff was amicable and stepped up big time for our visit over MLK weekend. Otherwise, the room was clean with accessible appliances and layout was good. The 9am breakfast was delayed by 15 min, not a big issue but was noted as we made plans for the day. The location is in a very good spot with the shopping district and beach nearby. On-site parking is a plus. The gym is a decent size with free weights, treadmill, and cables. Would have given 5 stars but the anomaly of the room and delay in breakfast made it 4 stars. I Would come back again, though, as it seems it was an off day unfortunately.

Great Location - accessible to most places of interest by walking. Friendly oriented staffs. Lots of activities well explained during Orientation with free breakfast by Erick!! Thank You!!

Location is great, HOWEVER, CBR is full of deferred maintenance. My “1 bedroom” is a studio with a drape between the living room and bed. (211). The sofa bed was crushingly flat and not sleep-able. The windows were broken…1 is nailed shut and the other one, the mechanism is broken so you cannot close it after you open it. Unfortunately, once maintenance leaves about 6 PM you are on your own. The front desk says they will take care of things but never does. We have stayed here for years and it has gotten worse and worse. It’s apparent the management is not investing in the property. Look around for alternatives or have your expectations set on a very low grade place to stay. Big disappointment. Be cautious about the positive reviews because they are owners of the timeshares and it is in their best interest to have positive reviews to sell.

Great location. Beach, downtown shops, and Hotel Del.

** Initial review on April 2024 ** I was on a business trip and my wife stayed with me. I considered this resort due to safety of the Coronado island and the area near the resort. There was no homeless and the hotel Del is so close to enjoy the facilities and coastal walkroads. And there are many restaurants near the resorts so it is safe to walk around all day long. Just one thing, close of the Coronado bridge due to some events was a problematic event and it made going outside the island to take a long time. ** Additional review on Dec 2024 ** wrote the above review in April 2024, right after my business trip. However, a few months later, I realized that my cancellation for a previous reservation with payment had not been refunded. Although they sent me an email confirming a full refund, no cancellation was processed. I attempted to contact the resort several times via email over several months, but I couldn't get a response. I even reached out to the email address provided on their homepage (cbrfrontdesk@gpresorts.com), but nobody replied to my request. While I was satisfied with the resort upon returning home, their poor management regarding the refund has left me deeply disappointed.

What a wonderful resort, staffed by an exceptional team with positive attitudes. We loved our stay, and were very sorry when it was time to leave. Eric is extremely kind, caring and available almost 24/7. Everything about this resort is first class, and the location is ideal for walking to Coronado's restaurants and shopping. I would love to go back for a longer stay, and hope to do so in the coming year. Hats off to a perfectly managed resort in an ideal location. Thank you for our outstanding experience.

I've been coming to this hotel for about 5 years now. I've always enjoyed my stay. The amenities are nice, especially as you have access to a larger hotel down the street. Even so, I've enjoyed their gym and hot tub. The location is unbeatable as you can easily walk through the town or down to the beach. Also, I've taken advantage of the bikes they have for you to borrow. Definitely worth doing. The staff is incredibly friendly, and work to make your stay as comfortable as possible. My only complaint is parking. They have restrictions. I've generally had to park a few blocks away as my family comes in multiple cars. A small consideration given how easily you can get around.

Very comfortable with tremendous facilities directly across from a world class beach!
