The Resort continues to look beautiful! In preparation for the winter, the gutters have been cleared and repaired where needed. We also made some repairs to a few of the unit window frames, with more scheduled to be completed during Maintenance Weeks in December. Each year, all units are taken out of service so the team can complete deep cleanings perform preventive maintenance, and work on special projects. Since the Resort runs at such a high occupancy year-round, this is an important opportunity to ensure the quality of our rooms continues to stay at the high level our Owners expect and deserve.
A remodel of the Lobby Kitchen and Bar Area is currently underway! We will be receiving new cabinets, countertops, flooring and appliances. This is the area where we host the majority of our Activities and serve coffee and tea daily. This lobby kitchen is original to the building, so the team is very excited about the face-lift and a refreshed space to prepare for Activities!
This winter repairs will be made to the Coronado Beach Resort entryway from Adella Avenue into the Resort parking garage. The City of Coronado has required that the pedestrian ramp be regraded to meet current ADA requirements. As a result, the ramp will be widened and regraded to ensure less of an incline and the railings will be replaced.
Due to our location in the heart of Coronado, please be aware that our resort experiences consistent noise from the local military base, nearby construction, and traffic along Orange Avenue.
